Was it tho?

Bron would have eventually won a ring in Cleveland just like I believe KD wouldve gotten at least one in OKC.

These dudes so busy running from the ghosts of Charles Barkley and Karl Malone to realize all rings aint created equal.

He'd never admit it, but KD would gladly trade those 2 rings in Golden State for 1 in OKC.

Giannis is restoring the feeling

I don't disagree with the fact that winning with the team that drafted you means more, but that's not the best path for everybody because nothing is guaranteed. Ask Brooklyn.

Tbh, Lebron likely doesn't win a ring if he stays in Cleveland. The Cavs FO doesn't have a great track record in the past 20 years that doesn't have anything to with Lebron. Kyrie is the only hit and they wouldn't have been in the position to draft him if Lebron stays. Kinda hard pressed to see those Cavs get past the Lakers, Mavs, Thunder, Spurs and Dubs in the Finals and that's if they get past the Celtics, Bulls, Pacers, Raptors, Heat, etc. The Cavs likely wouldn't have won shyt because who was gonna come when the FO can't draft, hit on FA/trades? Lebron leaving the first time helped set up the rest of his career.

Like I said in another post, I don't blame players for staying and I don't blame players for leaving. Players all are in different scenarios working with different front offices and coaches. A lot of people praising Giannis today were the same ones saying he should leave after losing to Toronto in 2019 and Miami in 2020.

People that create these rankings tend to be fickle with the requirements and switch up to fit their own personal narrative. Players should do what's best for their career.

In the words of Herm Edwards "You play to win the game". Bron, KD, Giannis, Kawhi, etc. all had different paths to the title and each one has been enjoyable to watch. And I'm sure each one was relieved that they won regardless of how they got there.

Sounds like these current guys are playing not to lose, not playing to win. All these hypotheticals about how u will be recieved if u lose is why this super team problem started

Everybody aint supposed to get a ring, thats what makes them special. With all the freedom of movement the game has now these rings from the last 10 years need to he evaluated a little bit differently than the ones before.

So now the narrative in here is LeBron should have turned Mo Williams and Boobie Gibson into Middleton and Holliday. :mjlol:

Yall nikkas are hilarious. :mjlol:
As unfair as it is, Lebron supporters (maybe not you) are the ones who created that narrative of him turning, “shyt to sugar”, and when he’s held to those standards there seems to be low key outrage. But yeah, i agree that it’s stupid.

I don't rock with LeBron at all. Mostly because I hated hearing their announcer sounding like a damn buffoon. :russ:

But I gotta step in when folks start trying to compare Boobie Gibson and Delonte West to legit players like Middleton and Holliday. Bron took that team as far as anyone possibly could. No way that roster should have been competing for anything as evidenced by them being the worst team in the league the second he left.

Yea Giannis's supporting cast is being wildly disrespected. Jrue, Middleton and Tucker are elite defenders at their positions and Lopez is playoff veteran.
