Awful take.
Bron didn't have a "guaranteed path to the Finals" until he
went back to Cleveland, ironically enough. Until then his path wasn't any easier than, say, the early 2000s or late 2000s Lakers, the 1990s Bulls, or the 1980s Celtics. (And harder than the 1980s Lakers or the late 2010s Warriors.)
Your argument is that Bron should have continued playing for an a$$hole of an owner and one of the worst-run teams in the NBA despite the fact that they weren't showing any signs they were ever going to get better.....on the "hope" that once the Celtics got old no one else good would emerge in the East....oh and let's just ignore that the Lakers, Spurs, and Thunder were all already stacked.
Why??? Out of loyalty to racist white people in Cleveland who would burn your jersey if you left?
