Realistically how much leverage does he have left? Realistically how much longer until the Bucks look to trade high themselves? Dude is 30 and his game heavily dependent on athleticism. And he is hurt...again. If dude is hurt for a 3rd consecutive postseason whats even the point?

I agree, Rui, Vincent, and 2 firsts should be enough for them :ehh:

I mean at some point at as a great player why tie yourself to a franchise that isn't working as hard as you to bring a chip in. They've wasted a couple of years of his prime when he is overworked regular season and done for playoffs. Bucks with Khris and Jrue just needed to be healthy.

Im not seeing a future for them right now especially if he walks.

They have no cap space or future picks and assets. It’s only a matter of time before Giannis asks out or they do right by him and move him.

I’d even consider it in the offseason as I don’t see them getting out of the first round.

If OKC crashes and burns in these playoffs or more-so when Houston crash and burns in these playoffs, they should give MIL a call.

Only thing i don't like is he's 30 but last year was the first time he'd played 70 games since he was 24... and he's not gonna make it to 70 games played this season. Compounded, a lot of these injuries bleed into the playoffs as well.

So he's a guy who plays 65 reg season games with 50/50 availability in the playoffs.

I will always believe that Dallas was lying and they called Milwaukee asking about Giannis as I just don’t believe that Davis was their first option if they were in fact looking for a big.

I would have taken it or at least considered it granted Milwaukee doesn’t have any picks or young players to add in the deal, but Giannis alone should have been enough.

While I don't think Giannis is going anywhere, if the Bucks had to move him, OKC would be by and far the best partner to me. I don't necessarily trust Horst with drafting, but they have the right mix of salaries, talent and picks for us to rebuild.

It wouldn't be a surprise if the Bucks and Giannis at least explored a break up. Though i doubt the Bucks would want to trade him cause no way are they getting equal value back they also owe hin the chance to compete if they can't make any moves. The Dame move obviously wasn't enough cause they still aren't legit title contenders this season. They at least need to tinker and see what they can do to make Giannis happy. Cause if not they are going back to the 90's Bucks with 26-56 records or worse.
