Giannis fan here. I dont care who you are, Ima keep it a buck. Unless you can get a KD to Houston type sweetheart deal, is the juice worth the squeeze in 2025? He is about to be 31 and is in year 13. He has been injured in 2 of the last 3 playoffs. He let Jimmy dominate his squad when he came back from injury a couple years ago. Hali took him one on one with the season on the line last year. What team you trading him to where you keep the playmaking and shooting needed to compete with him? And his game is not built to age well. nikka would be better off being a Dirk type legend in Milwaukee.

Personally, that’s why I don’t really want Austin in a deal for him. We lowkey doing them a favor already by giving them a chance to start over. They can take our spare parts and draft picks and call it a day cuz to your point he’s at the beginning of the back nine of his career and his skillset might make him toast unless he’s with a playmaker of the caliber of Luka/Reaves/Bron.

I think raptors, rockets or knicks are prob the best option

I think giannis wants to play in a top world class city and all 3 of those teams are big cities and can offer young talented players back to milwaukee

og and kat
barnes and barrett
amen thompson, reed sheppard, etc.

OKC with the three first rounders next year plus Sorber who hasn't played yet can actually put up a good effort to get Giannis and be even scarier.

When Giannis plays, he's an MVP candidate, when he's out, your team is fukked because you gave away too many assets.

Under current salary cap room rules, teams can no longer spend too much on a player if they are not guaranteed that he will perform for most of the season.

He's not a Kawhi type of injury prone, but it's still becoming alarming.

Will be interesting to see what team actually gambles on him.

We need depth to beat OKC. Ain’t no way only LUKA and Giannis get it done . Their bench has NBA starter caliber players . We need to keep the offensive fire power reaves brings

IDK man. Trading for a star doesn't seem worth it in the current NBA. Unless you have a retard like Nico Harris on the other end, you're going to end up depleting the hell out of your team.:francis:
