Right, he has that LeBron circa 2012 role where he's allowed to be free safety and help off his man for blocks and steals, but he doesn't stop anybody consistently, and isnt a true rim protector.

Much deserved, Gobert, AD & Simmons were all excellent but I think Giannis was equally great at defending wings & forwards which gave him the edge. Plus the Bucks were the best defence in the league.

Crazy to think someone winning both DPOY & MVP hasn’t happened in 2 decades (though Lebron should’ve done it in 2013).
