Much deserved, Gobert, AD & Simmons were all excellent but I think Giannis was equally great at defending wings & forwards which gave him the edge. Plus the Bucks were the best defence in the league.

Crazy to think someone winning both DPOY & MVP hasn’t happened in 2 decades (though Lebron should’ve done it in 2013).
This really should be Giannis second year in a row winning MVP&DPOY

Nahhhh... AD should of gotten it in 2013, tho.
Naw this was Giannis shyt,he really should’ve got it last year too
I mean, if you're cognizant that this award, like every other individual accolade, is based entirely upon narrative, and not what happens on the court, then yes, Giannis is the one the machine chose. But if we're going strictly off performance, then AD was the best player on the defensive end this season.

Yep everyone who is being honest knows he should have won it that year. But there was so much bitterness and hurt panties due to the decision. There is no way the clown media was going to give him the MVP and DPOY.

How you figure? I’m not even being funny,in my eyes Giannis guarded the paint AND perimeter effectively equal and had the Bucks #1 in defense two years in a row now. AD can’t guard the perimeter as well as Giannis

His defensive metrics don't actually line up :patrice:

Can anyone show me any numbers that suggest he had a better defensive year than AD and Gobert?
Yeah they do. He leads the league in defensive rating, defensive win shares, defensive box plus minus, he’s second in defensive rebounding %, Bucks have the number one ranked defense, he’s arguably the most versatile defender in the league.

I don’t want see you crying next year I’m saving this quote from you :mjlol:

Please do breh. As I said last year only the lakers and celtics have won 7 or more champions. The warriors and bulls stuck at 6 and the spurs stuck at 5. Everyone else has 3 to 2 to 1 to 0 championships.

Hell the league doesn't even need golden state anymore the lakers are good now...:mjlol:. If anything the league probably in the offseason trying to figure out how the celtics can get a star so they can play the lakers in the finals. Now that both of them are good again...
