God damn that shyt is huge. Them gators a problem breh. They range is expanding too. They starting to find them joints in creeks and ponds in metro Atlanta now. Guess climate change is pushing them further north. I always thought they was slow till I saw one near Savannah a while back. It was sunning itself on a rock under this overpass. This white boy threw a rock at it and it jumped into the water so fast. shyt was amazing. If one on them wants to snatch you up there really ain't shyt you can do brehs
IIRC Gators live as far north as North Carolina since like forever....

I'm worried about those Giant Pythons from Africa ruining the ecosystem in Florida than the Gators TBH... Those snakes are even eating Gators, I doubt they are eating ones like the Gator in the OP though.

They just found one here in Dallas last week about 6-7 feet long right in the fukkin city.....IN fukkIN DALLAS :what:

They getting further north. Used to be in Georgia you didn't see them till you got south of Macon. Now they popping up here my way. They've found like 4 already up here just this year. One of them in this pond down on the Southside they said they it looked like he had been living there for a while. Between gators, bears, Cougars and them 500+ pound wild pigs it's some scary shyt out there in these southern woods

Yeah but that was on the coast tho. I think coastal Carolina is still somewhat sub tropical. The outer banks further north than ATL but cuz it's on the ocean it's still warmer. Plus ATL damn near in the mountains anyway. So the elevation makes it cooler. Only until recently have them bytches been popping up in the Piedmont and that's not they natural range. We got pine trees and other Mountain trees but you can literally drive south from the A and once you get right outside of Macon you start seeing Palm trees and Cypress and Oak trees with Spanish moss and that shyt only like an hour and some change away. shyt palm trees can even grow on the Southside of the metro easily but they'll die on the Northside of the metro. Elevation got a lot to do with the temperature.

In an even race, an average human would beat a full-grown alligator easily. The maximum speed for a sprinting human is around 20 miles per hour, and most reasonably fit humans can exceed 10 mph for a short distance. It's possible that some small alligators might get as high as 25 mph for a short burst, but large alligators generally can't get above 7-8 mph.

Of course it takes time for a person to get up to speed, and it's quite possible that if an alligator takes a human by surprise, the human might not be able to escape

Alligators can get up 25 MPH on land for short burst.
