There is alot of fault of David Stern, like countless shyt
But one thing I always gotta give it to him was bringing the NBA from a league with low TV ratings, tape delay NBA Finals games, low attendance at games, etc to a league that is internationally recognized, billions in revenue, where bench players are now making $12 million a year
That whole model of making 1 player a cash cow and God-like to promote the league all came from Stern

I knew what he was saying and it makes sense but go head and compare MJ in the perfect situation to Steph when he is currently is a bad situation. Stating he has more offensive impact than MJ, doesn't mean he's a better scorer or better offensive player. I've repeated this about 1000x by now: his gravity opens up the floor for his teammates to get easy scoring opportunities more than any player in history. That is a fact; combined with his scoring and playmaking ability, and equal-ability to play on and off the ball.
Anyone arguing against this has got an agenda to keep up and/or doesn't understand the game.
