No. He never said anything about LeBron winning more... again, the yardstick he uses is a Kobe Bryant season where he did not make the playoffs.

Not sure how anyone can take an article seriously that claims LeBron needs to defer to Kyrie Irving. Just silly.

MAYBE CUZ KYRIE IS THE BETTER SCORER????

AND U TAKE KOBE OFF THAT 06 LAKER TEAM N PUT HIM ON THE LOADED HEAT, THEY EASILY WIN ALL 4..THATS WHAT GIL IS SAYIN, U MISSIN HIS ENTIRE POINT.

DONT BE DUMB AND FIGURE OUT THE REST ON YOUR OWN. OF COURSE HE'S NOT GUNA COME OUT AND SAY "LEBRON HAS NO HEART"...BUT IF 1+1 DON'T = 2, THEN TELL ME WHAT IT EQUALS?
You are already struggling with reading comprehension, don't bring math into this too.

Gilbert would be negging every last one of your posts in here. You simply could not be doing a worse job of paraphrasing him.

it was super quick and super text book. and he was one of the first people i remember seeing run full speed and do an around the back without slowing down. thats because like gill said,he plays straight up.

:patrice: you lose speed playing straight up

he's low on every cross especially the second one

look how he gets low to make this crossover effective

Gilbert was right about lebron playing straight up and down but totally wrong about Kidd

made a lot of good points that i agree with

just to nitpick: jordan did not have a 48" vert and did not have a 38" vert at 36 years old. highly doubt it

also, clyde/wilkins/hill are all better than vince

:mjlol: Clyde or Nique ain't better than VC :childplease:

Jason kidd was a way better pg than Allen Iverson.

I agree that shaq was more of a 90s center

yes and no.

The truth is, kobe could jump with the best of them at his peak athleticism. now that doesnt mean he's jumping as high in the combine. it means in the event someone needs to get dunked on. kobe can do it right along with the best of them.

kobe's quickness was also up there with the best of them at his position. so again, if kobe needed to out quick someone in his prime athleticism he could.

kobe's speed was way above most people not just at his position but at the guard/perimeter positions period. I've seen him, chase down balls where he was behind guys(smaller quicker guys, as well as the most athletic guys in the nba at the time). and he would out run them to the ball. i've seen this numerous times. this is why i remember these events. i was like wait a second, is that fool kobe that fast? i've seen him beat guys down the court when he was neck and neck with them but he had the ball. everyone knows its harder to run at top speed while dribbling vs a defender chasing you down.

what kobe did not have and he has stated was MONSTER Hands. its not that jordan could jump 50 feet high or vince could jump 50 feet high or lbj could jump 50 feet high. its that those guys can palm the ball with ease(without thinking about it, even when they were younger. kobe had to work on his finger/hand/and forearm strength and concentrate on holding onto the ball(squeezing it). Having monster hands when you're already 6'5+ with hops of any kind is a good night situation for everyone else. its not much they can do to stop you from bashing on them once you get into the paint. because you have the ultimate control over the ball once you leave your feet no matter how much contact you end up getting mid air. this is why jordan could just turn his back and throw up what looked like a miracle flip shot(it wasnt a miracle it was big hands and planned English-spin on that shot). while kobe would go up get hit real hard and start moving the ball with both hands in mid air and leaning back like crazy. contorting his body(i've never seen a player do this as much as i've seen kobe do that with his body..thats the unreal part about kobe in midair collision situations. He was killing the league with smaller hands than all of the greats. what would happen if he had hands like jordan? he would've possibly dropped 50 or dropped the same 40 with a FG% around the 60's. but his jumper probably would've taken a hit. i always wondered if having super large hands hinders a guys ability to shoot the long ball on a consistent basis(while being heavily defended). sure some guys can do it. but most with super big hands cant shoot that well. especially not when being defended. So he would gain higher efficiency in the paint, but less on the outside. and dont quote stats from his jumpers. because those are tightly defended sometimes even fouled while shooting vs lbj or jordan where guys rarely guard them tight that far out.

but this is also why i think kobe is a top 5er at worse. because he did everything he did with less GOd given ability. he unlike mike and bron. MADE himself into who he is for the most part. especially when kobe played. everyone was 6'5+ with super hops, athleticism and crazy long arms. not so when mike was killing the league. and now with lbj, who on earth is that size moving like that? No one. blake is the closest right now.

lbj and jordan are similar in the regard that they get the God given talent bonus for "GOAT" player. while kobe has done the work to be in that conversation. not saying those guys didnt work hard they did. but its certain things they never HAD to do in order to be in the convo due to their from birth abilities.
had to quote myself for reference.

look at Mike... even on his jumpers, when he makes his hard dribble hesitation move. he always palms the ball. quite as kept jordan's handlers were semi suspect. he could get away with it because he would literally palm the ball on every other dribble. not palm as in turn his wrist over so his palm is facing up. but he would bounce the ball and palm it in his super large hands, pull back, then go and place the ball wherever he wanted to. this means he's running with the basketball like its a grapefruit. most people cant do that. kobe could not do that. due to the size of his hands. watch that first dunk in the video below. he's not super high. he's using his arm length and his super large hands to control the ball with EASE. thats how he dunked on people so often. he didnt jump like vince on those dunks all the time. even the great pat ewing baseline move was him palming the ball to fake out the defenders. he went one way, bounce the ball once. acted like he was going back the other, while still PALMINg the ball(its only legal because the technical rule states as long as you dont turn your wrist over and have your palm facing up. you're not palming the ball.) he makes his move still palming it, goes back the other way by moving the ball (still no dribble taken) and turns back baseline. then puts the ball down. if curry made that same move, it would take 3 or 4 dribbles. but he could pull it off due to his superior ball handling ability, same with kyrie. 50% of mikes game was based on his ability to control the hell out of the ball with his large hands, then add the super athleticism, then add the work ethic and the IQ once he figured it out. kobe may be the highest hoop iq (scoring guard) of all time. magic was probably the smartest guard of all time period. because he knew what to give you no matter what situation was there and he knew how to do this DAY 1(rookie season). which is why i say magic might be the goat, with his non hops game and all. and his average man defense but great team defense. Who walks into the nba after winning a college title. then wins a NBA title his first season in the league. not only that, but plays completely out of position because his goat center is not in the lineup then drops 40 at center. i dont care who he played at center. the fact is, that was not that man's position period. its one thing to put him there and he gives you 15 points, 8 boards and 7 assists. No this fool had 42 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and handed out 7 assists .

now lets look at kobe. these are not even 100% kobe's best 10 plays of his career. thats new toronto clips. Thats old man pre achilles kobe. who said he wasnt athletic still? thats a da.. lie. he just beat not one but 3 people to the basket from above the 3 point line. you can only do that with foot speed/quicks. now you see the incredible footwork with the ball and off the ball in these clips. but you also see what i said above. notice how they are super crowding kobe on all of his 3pt shots. sometimes its 2 people. still bucket. watch him contort his body as he goes up to shoot. who does that? people try to shoot over you . but not over and around you and still hit the shot.

and now Vince, since someone thru his name around. mike was not jumping like vince most of the time. now truth is mike was a better one foot jumper but vince off two was incredible. who the hell does an off the backboard windmill Mid game? who jumps over a 7 foot man mid game? who does a two hand on the other side of the rim reverse dunk MID GAME. only VC. but like mike he had those monster hands.
