AI had a legendary motor. nikka used to never get tired....like literally...they say he was some type of genetic freak. Heard a story of him at Georgetown where he ran full speed on a treadmill for 85 mins straight....shattered the endurance record. And the coaches literally had to go grab him off cause he kept going.

So I get where Gilbert is coming from....kinda torturous dealing with a cat running full speed at u all game long :ehh:

Don’t believe everything you hear, scrap.

Heard the stories of him running a sub five minute mile in a pair of Timberland boots and jeans on a high school track. :yeshrug:

Hey if nikkas don’t find it believable that’s fine. It ain’t my story:manny:

If u ever been on campus at Georgetown tho they swear that actually happened..:yeshrug:
I see what these guys are saying, but there's a very legitimate chance what thoes guys were really saying is that Iverson was running on a treadmill fast as hell for an hour and a half. These cats are being technical with the maximum speed shyt, it probably looked like maximum speed to someone watching, but Iverson was either just running at the highest level of the treadmill which wasn't actually his personal top speed or just running at a high speed for a long period of time.

I definitely hear him, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s a better player. It can also be that he views offense from one angle, such as handle, ie AI being so quick that you just wanted to give up. Not the fact that you could completely close Kobe’s attack but he’d still shoot over you with the wrong hand. But I do believe AI did “crazier” things, while Kobe played smarter/more efficiently.
