As someone that coaches girls basketball ages 12-14, a time where their self esteem is at an all time low and insecurity at an all time high, Gil's comments disgust me...Dude should realize how these type of comments affect young female student athletes, especially Black girls that are already getting negative peer pressure to look and act like Nicki Minaj...Black girls with hair issues and body image problems that are trying to study hard and work at their craft to get college scholarships...

This n1gga Arenas been a bum and a terrible human being...Not just in this instance, but I have been saying this for YEARS.. You can ask @mastermind and others..., I been talking about how I've personally seen him treat kids that look up to him like sh1t..

He's really a low character n1gga

3. The teams that have like 20 people in stands need to either be removed or moved. If moved try to move them to a city that has no pro basketball team at all.

4. Change the shedulle to something more realistic. They had the playoffs on on Sunday afternoons with football on. :rudy:.

Theres probably more stuff but off the top of my head. As for Arenas his comments are dumb and sexist. But there's no doubt the league needs help.

So what does Arenas's comments have to do with 12-14 year old girls who aren't in the WNBA? As a father to a daughter, im not getting that leap.

No its not. I didn't say they should be in thongs. Just a more feminine look. They look sily in the same style uniforms as the men

It has nothing to do with basketball per say but it does have to do with presentation. All im looking for is a different look. They look silly in the uniforms they currently play in as its a look better suited for men. I never used the word sexy or anything close to it.

Arenas said fukk who young black girls look up to, we should see women basketball players play in booty shorts. Who is the only group that looks up to WNBA players? The us women's soccer put 33,000 in the superdome last night to say goodbye to an old cac. Women soccer team wears what the men wear and the stands were filled with white moms bringing their soccer playing daughters to see their role models. nikkas smoked themselves stupid on this board
