Africa is an entire CONTINENT with thousands of different cultures. Its like saying that a dance is European. Well, which country or culture would that be on the CONTINENT of Europe. You couldn't provide a source to back up your comments because you didn't know how to search for the information. Its ok. Dumb bunnies always know how to shake their azzes but ask them to drop real knowledge and they are completely stupefied.
Mapouka, also known under the name of Macouka, is a traditional dance from the area of Dabou in southeast Côte d'Ivoire, sometimes carried out during religious ceremonies. It is also known as, "La danse du fessier" or "the danse of the behind"...
There are two forms of the dance, the original and the modern. The modern is danced mostly by young people and is considered more obscene and improper by some due to its suggestive nature.
In 1998, the government of Côte d'Ivoire decided to prohibit its performance in public. It is, paradoxically, following this prohibition that the dance now enjoys a very fast-growing global following, especially in the sub-Saharan countries and western nations with large Francophone communities."

It doesn't take much thought to conclude that twerking is a form of gyrating originated by our african ancestor's. Have you ever been to Africa or even Jamaica?
Our people are sensual and sexually by nature. You ever seen wining by jamaican women...I'd say that's where our twerking recently evolved from. And Jamaicans wine with no shame. In a way they are closer to their african roots than we are.

I very well traveled. But specific to your question, I have traveled to numerous islands in the Caribbean (including Jamaica) and throughout North Africa. I already knew the answer to the question that I was asking that poster but I knew that individuals such as herself never come to the table with full knowledge. If she was going to speak on the origins of "twerking" then she should know the ACTUAL information.

My argument is from the angle that possibly the girls are actually intelligent. If they're just birds, yeah its easier to throw them in the bushes.

Almost everything we live by in this country is white culture, all of the norms.
It's somewhat like christianity, another conditioning I had to cleanse myself of, in that it has been drilled into us so long we don't know anything else or question why.

The white system is to have everyone in debt and slaving for their white leaders. Dope boys and rappers were making their system look bad. These guys were making bread without feeding the machine. It could have gotten worse, and they wouldn't have anyone to work the fields.
They could careless about the occasional overdose. The masses could realize the Ponza scheme they were living in.
