Props to the writers for giving a more realistic portrait of OCD. Most shows make it so cute and innocent. The part on the couch where she describes the image loops was perfect.

Take Sex In the City, add MUCH better male characters, subtract all the wealth and career establishments, put it in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan, throw in some hipster sentiments, add some naivete and put it in MUCH more realistic and uncomfortable situations then you have "Girls" basically.


Its not really anything like Sex In the City but truthfully its impossible not to draw the comparisons.

I mean not really but the dumb shyt women do when they're younger? That's Girls. When they get older, that's Sex in the City.

For a sec I though the Domincan Concierge was the dude from How to make it in America. That would have been cold as hell.


I loved How to make it but this has way more substance. Wish this show was an hour.
