When I was younger, schools banning all kinds of trends amongst the whites was talked about all the time. Neon colored hair, weird contact colors, nose piercings, etc.

The things was those trends were always just among certain cliques of whites. While Black trends tend to be looked as part of every Black person's cultural heritage. The white jocks could say the white goths look fukking stupid without being thought of as anti white.
