The Lakers really didn't need to make any moves. They were favorites regardless. I don't think this is about replacing Green. I think with Kcp and Rondo opting out and Avery bradley possibly opting out they had to make a move. I'm sure Kcp wants a long term deal. Lakers have gotten away with 1 and 2 year deals here and there. KCP has his ring. I'm sure he's going to the highest bidder.
