The funny thing is, he turned down $80m from the Pistons, wanting more, and yet now he ends up getting $12m less than if he would've accepted that deal.

edit: looks like witih the LWO he made/will be making 5/65 million thru 2022. Would've gotten 5/80 million with the Pistons if he accepted.

It's 15 million less to live in Cali so it still hurts the wallet some with taxes and costs of living, but he got a ring and It's LA. :ehh:

Rich "fixed" it somewhat. Still 15 million left on the table for a regular player is hard to swallow.

I agree. Don't like montrezl. Dont like his mental, and that defense... he'll get cooked in the playoffs. If this guy is the reason they left Dwight hanging...

Harrell was decent at defense in the regular season. The bubble against bigger players is where he got torched.

He's a good athlete who will 1. have AD beside him and 2. Vogel teaching and scheming for him to succeed. He'll be alright.

The Lakers still do need to sign a good interior big for the vet minimum. Gotta have someone deal with Jokic/Embiid/Porzingis for spot minutes. Gasol would be ideal, but there's other guys on the market, like Dedmon.
