They need Gasol, Wes, and Caruso to get more minutes. Drummond, Ben, and THT are too mistake prone to play winning basketball. Need to get back to playing stifling defense.

I mean you're right, but you also gotta let those guys develop into winning players. That only happens with experience.

Now if you gotta play the Clippers in the 1st round then scrap whoever. Otherwise you gotta build up those habits.

Cause believe it or not. We'll need Drum's rebounding, Ben's shooting and THT's playmaking....eventually. When it gets tight they are going to need more talented players in the WCF (assuming Clippers) and FInals.

This is a horribly put together team. They need shooting and another guy that can create they own shot, I'm watching Clippers play right now, a healthy Clippers team would beat Lakers in 5-6 tops

I said this since last summer but the front office wanted to stand pat.

Schroeder/Kuzma/Drummond/Harrell/THT are all the wrong fits if you want this team to win a title. Plus Wes is just taking up space and Morris has regressed horribly. Add in the fact that Bron/AD are gonna be rusty and it really could be hopeless.

They legit have 13 guys they're giving real minutes to when you really only need 8. A good 6-7 of those players should have been traded away for three who could actually contribute: a real 3-and-D who can be relied on to hit shots, a backup pg who actually distributes, and a defensive center. Their lack of urgency to fill any of those roles adequately is going to cost them a title this year.

Because we would've lost him for nothing and at 13m per year his contract is very tradeable....Had his contract kicked in before the start of this season he would've gotten traded before the deadline, but because he only makes 3.5m this season it was hard to get any value in return. The Lakers will trade Kuz during the offseason and get a solid rotation player.

LA was already over the salary cap. There was no cap space to sign another player...Kuzma's contract extension was the Laker's last signing of the offseason.

You had to do that in order to include him in trade packages possibly. He was making no money you couldn’t include him in deals because salaries have to match in order to make trades.
