its a solid album. no more no less. 4 mics. its not touching classic. dude can flow, the beats are HOT. but he aint that hot. calling this a classic is undermining real classics like illmatic ready to die and only built 4 cuban linx. add RD to that list. all those mcs are lightyears ahead of kendrick lamar. most overrated dude on the internet. shyt reminds me of lupes first album

I think people can relate to GKMC more because it was a day in the life of a young cat that was trying to get pu**y and drunk and shyt went left and his homie ending up dying and then he realizes that he was going down the wrong path and got back on track. Most of us have been through some type of experience that Kendrick Lamar is
rapping about. RD is a more slick and polished production, more flash and luxury type of hustler's tale. Put it this way, if RD and GKMC were movies, RD would be a hood cult classic, like Scarface or Carlito's Way, GKMC is a critically acclaimed movie with award winning potential, like a Boyz n da Hood.

alright, for those of you saying something about MCHG... we're not talking about that album, we're talking about reasonable doubt.
Kendrick's album wasn't super special. the mere fact that it was the first concept album in a while is what set it apart from other albums last year. other than that, the album was relatively normal. Reasonable doubt was significantly better.

Do your research playboi about the acclaim Boyz in da Hood was getting when that movie was released. You questioning my comparison doesn't change the fact that I'm correct.
