This is an interesting debate. Was 2PAC a bigger star than Snoop when he was alive?

I feel like when ALL EYEZ ON ME dropped 2pac became a bigger start than Snoop.

Snoop was bigger at first but when Pac came to Death Row he was then the bigger star.

All the money that had been put into Snoop prior to Pac coming, was now being poured into Pac; outside of Snoop's trial.

Even down to the music, Pac was getting beats that were already made for other artists and projects but because Suge and Pac were anxious to put out new music, Pac was getting whatever beats was done and ready for him to rhyme over.

But I feel like Snoop was the bigger draw during their careers with the lone exception being 1996.

I'm thinking in terms of house hold names in the 90s the 3 biggest rap names in the 90s were Pac, Snoop and Cube (not including pop acts like MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice)

I saw the interview yesterday morning and agree with most of what G said. Pac came to Death Row to benefit from what Snoop and Dre had popping. Pac was broke when he came to the Row. He had no monster hits like Snoop til after he got there. He may have surpassed him in popularity towards the end but for most of their time together Snoop was bigger, not even sure how that is debatable.
