I didnt get as far as the booking fee because I declined the event immediately because doing an after party on a Wednesday in the bay usually never works out. I also know both the promoters of the event, and they been posting that they had contract that says opposite to what glorilla/gotti saying.. thats why I said, we need to see how it plays out
Ive been in this game over 12 years, ive booked the biggest artists and athletes in the world. Even doing bookings through legit agencies (wme, paradigm, etc), artists dont always follow through on their contractual obligations. Ive had artists get high and fall asleep after a concert instead of coming to an after party, where the agency has had to refund me.
Im not saying thats what happened here. I am saying, that automatically jumping to glorillas side here you might end up looking dumb in the long run. You should wait to see if the promoters post the full contract or text messages that show that she was supposed to do a few songs and if they cant supply that, then by all means glorilla should continue to pop shyt

Unfortunately no smh those clubs are filled with a bunch of Asians, Latinos, and whites, with a sprinkle of black people. I can’t think of a club in the city with a good black population. Gentrification affected the city nightlife bad.
Now we tend to stick to downtown Oakland bar and lounges. That’s where I tell all my friends to go when they visit. The black joy parade and after party coming up in Oakland, that should be a dope event to attend

Artists do this all the time, it's called a walkthrough, the problem is promoters will book them for one then finesse the fans and put stuff on the flyer like "GloRilla Live" instead of "performing live" which confuses people.
