At what point, do you just say eff it, and save people from their own stupidity?
Like, in this situation, maybe a couple of brothers should have just grabbed him and held him down and told him "no!"
He would have wanted to fight, but I mean, just hold him down on the ground and somebody call the authorities.
Same with the grandma in the other thread who tried to put out the grease fire with water. At what point do you run over to her and tell her "mama no!" and snatch it out of her hand and put a lid on it (to kill the oxygen) as opposed to letting her hurt herself and burn her house down?
Maybe you should just leave ppl to their own devices, I don't know.
I personally in the past wouldn't have gotten involved unless it was a family member or close friend but maybe we need to start getting involved. I don't know.
