If he's breaking down muscle fiber every workout,
How many reps you doing wit the 35s
So what do you do when you outgrow those weights, you just keep on doing the same sets with the same weights and getting no progress?
Because buying weights at Walmart, you need someplace in your house to put it, and most people don't have a empty garage or basement to make into a gym room.
I use to buy weights from Walmart also, but
1. It's expensive af, weights are like 45 dollars for a 45lb plate. A bench rack costs like 120.
2. I had no place in my house to keep putting extra weight, that shyt takes up a lot of space.
3. if you live any place that has cold weather, you need a treadmill to do any cardio in the winter, hence why a gym is needed. I am not buying a treadmill and weights for my crib, with no where to put them
4. The gym is a social experience, you meet people at the gym. Unlike Atlanta, most gyms have more women than men. So it's the best place to meet women who are not fat.

I'm not sure I haven't tried this method for longer than a year. It was out of necessity not choice. At the time I wasn't trying to be the strongest, I was just trying to pull bytches. That's more the question, how much tear down can you create with that equipment after certain levels of strength and body composition are attained.....
Don't get mad when you're called out on your bullshyt.I just do them while watching tv usually, I'd say about 50 per arm a day give or take
Fam. Just saying you'll get stronger and bigger, I'm not out here trying to impress anyone with my clothes off - just trying to stay strong and healthy fam.
Plus I said if you like to work out for the social element of it, that's understandable - but please note that I used the word NEED. A gym is not NEEDED to get stronger and have an athletic build.
Ok, would u like me fully clothed, shirt off, or stark naked?
FOH!
Y'all taking this too far man, if you disagree with my comments fine, keep it moving, it's ok to disagree with people, the world will still turn
You are wrong... Increase your calorie intake. Constantly increases the amount of push ups, pull ups, etc that you do. You will be at least upper body swoleTypically in order to build muscle over a sustained time for more people they need the progressively increase weight. That going to be hard to do with Walmart don't DBs and push-ups.
Maybe we have different definitions of swole
ATL is gay period. Anybody disputing this is gay or in denial. He sounds gay, unless that's an ATL accent![]()

Very True...Ive done both. The Calisthenics approach takes alot more to equal what somebdy is doing with heavier weights in the gym. However imo... U look better and the results last longer. Meaning, when i was not lifting in the gym almost everyday. I cant start to see myself losing gains and strength faster. But when using ur own body weight, the results stay longer, probly because of the more gradual increase of ur gains. And u look better cause like u said, ur probly doing way more reps with ur own body weight at homeIts not as efficient though.
You will end up having to do 500 pushups to equal the guy at the gym who works out in half that time lifting though.
