I was locked up with a lot of em when i was a jit i seen firsthand. But They bumped heads with them Northpark (52 Hoova) boys somethin serious. It wasn't just no squabbin neither. Naw that side of the nawf wasnt on fire like that back then but it got ugly quick it remind me of sw houston braeswood when i stayed out there. All them apts nothin but the jungle my g. Even fair oaks/park lane hell. My fam in the H use to tell me Dallas friendly just to get a rise outta me. I would laugh in they mf face if they only knew each side is a different beast i swear. And I've stayed on every single side except West Dallas

That's true with the blood/crip ratio. There was a small pocket of bloods in north Dallas on forest lane when i was over there. I went to school with a few from west Dallas projects. Plus I was cool with one who was from West Dallas that used to be in my apartments a lot. Homie was down with the black mafia.

This was 93-94. Can't really say it was bad in the sense you're talking about but at the same time it could go down. If you got caught out there wearing too much of the wrong color in Dallas or the suburbs around dallas you could get it. You might not get shot but you could get stabbed or jumped. It wasn't crazy when I was aroubd spring valley, it wasn't crazy when I was on forest lane but it was crazy when I was on park lane though. You had a big territity of a few different crip sets concentrated right there. Over there dudes was more active and organized. Most of that gang ish in other places was just young dudes wearing colors infatuated with the gang life that the music and movies promoted. The actual gangbangin' wasn't present. A lot dudes would be dressed in blue or red from head to toe and didn't even claim a set.l let alone put in any kind of work.

Didn't see yours either. Park Lane and Melody Lane too was grimey as hell back then. One of the homies moved from melody lane Not to far from there and he showed me an apartment that had blood on the walls. I lived on park lane. Did some burgleries other petty bs, was around crack and guns regularly, homies was slangin', they banged it out with one times, really living that gang life but they were just people I went to school with and drank and smoked with. They all claimed sets but ivwas down with them and not their sets. Cant front, there was some tension over being down but not being down if you know what i mean.
