So many great titles yall listed brings me back to my youth having your friend spend the night and playing turtles or Streets of Rage/Street Fighter all night agg to be a kid again

During that era so many great beat-em-ups Maximum Carnage/Symbiote Anxiety(sp?) but Streets of Rage 2 takes the crown people have stated the reasons here and I agree just everything was so polished and then the soundtrack my god the soundtrack

I had to pos rep you on this my man really is diggin in the closet here I thought my fam was the only ones up on rival turf much respect

Battletoads/Double Dragon was the fukking worst I broke two Ascii turbo pads cause of that game

Seriously what is it about this generations developers/systems that they cant make a co-op beat em up anymore? The technology is there why is it still to this day the genre reached its apex with Streets of Rage 2?
