If anything, Ja influenced 50s style.

Even Ja and Irv said on the Breakfast club what Drake is doing is nothing like what Ja was doing.

Drake is harmonizing and being melodic. Ja did what every rapper does as far as singing hooks and some verses here and there he just got some huge hits out of it.
