Dude is an amazing songwriter and musician, but his singing mostly consists of a shrill falsetto, screaming, and a mediocre chest voice. Prince knows how to mask his weakness by turning it into an asset for his own songs, but I wouldn't really call it good singing aside from a few vocal gems like Adore and The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.

I consider him to be a musician who just happens to sing a little, like Jimi Hendrix, only Prince's vocal chops are a lot more versatile.

Ey body knows artists like Madonna, Janet, Prince, Rihanna etc couldnt carry a note if they had Brock Lesner arms, but pop stars are judged on a different vocal scale because there isnt an expectation that they sing all that well. If they can sing its a bonus. For RnB artists there is that expectation one can sing, so artists like Keith, Aaliyah, and Al B Sure can and should be mocked.

T-Boz sounds like some drunk loser chick trying to sing karaoke at a dive bar. When I listen to TLC I scratch my head at her getting a deal in the first place, but then I think that the AnR correctly predicted that the chemistry and visual look of the group mattered way more than the fact that T-Boz was just horrendous.

Saying Bey cant sing is just trolling. Nothing more.

Annnnnnddddddd here come the single ladies brainwashed by the media. If you know anything about music and singing then its common knowledge that beyonce cant sing. She has been manufactured as a music star from birth. Her father had serious connections in the music industry and basically pimped her out. She needed constant vocal training from a young age just to get to where she is now, which is not a great voice at all. She relies on her looks and connections in the industry to get where she is. Her voice is mediocre on a skill level. Theres much better vocalists can be found in your local church.
