The Bible says the exact same shyt about being gay that it says about eating shellfish.

Please. He did pass judgment on him for his sexual orientation. It's not about him talking about God, it's about his narrow, judgmental interpretation and conception of what God wants.

you wont accept that because your too hung up in making out hypocrisy in scripture.

mark jackson did not okay other sins then condemn jason collins. that would be hypocrisy. because it happens amongst the church, that does not mean the bible is wrong. humans are humans. the government is a walking body of hypocrisy, they talk peace and equality then go across seas and bomb countries into the stone ages. does that mean government dont work? will you go outside tomorrow and decide to break all the laws because some officials of government are criminals?

you right now are being much more judgmental than mark jackson ever could because your basically saying since he did anything wrong, he cant have standards, he cant have a belief system, he cant acknowledge god.

lastly, because you all are caught up in trying to point out hypocrisy in scripture you read it with a judgmental heart and never place things in context.

first off the bible is not a book of laws passed down to the people. its a group of accumulated stories passed on throughout generations. because its in the bible does not necessarily mean god ordained it or sanctioned it. in those stories some things are told to explain how things were ran by those men of those days. this is the reason as you get further in the book you see jesus and others challenging what was spoken of in old books. the bible says stone hoes when caught, christ comes along and says let he who has not sinned case the 1st stone. was christ against god? no he was pointing out a way of living that was not ordained by god. this is all part of the story.

then there are some laws that are made for the times, then those that are sacred. the bible talks about not dealing with your herd on the sabbath, of course thats a way of life in that time. you going to call hypocrisy because some people today who got corporate jobs and drive cars wont round up a herd? i just want you to look how silly that is. of course its evolution and change.

but remember those religious people who you claim were brainwashed and foolish also came up with the standards of not killing and stealing. those guys are the reasons if someone murders you they have to face court. all these laws of today are nothing but standards started by the ancients who were spiritual. so again before you judge all those who acknowledge god remember that.
