The objective of a comedian is to tell jokes and make people laugh.

Yes as a comedian you can say ANYTHING you want... But the key is it has to be thought out with humor in it somewhere and it has to be widely cosidered funny in some form or fashion.

If theres zero humor in it then its not a joke. If its not a joke then its just vile hateful commentary that you will naturally suffer consequences for. You could say what you want but you better make damn sure that ppl find it funny, even if it's dark absurdist humor.

Thats why Godfrey said "even your own people didnt think that shyt was funny". Now its universally established that its not a joke. If its not a joke then youve officially fxcked up as a comic.

The most egregious thing about the whole shyt is that the "joke" wasn't remotely funny. If it was funny.. MAYBE.. he'd get 1/100th of a pass.
