I'm 22 and live with my mother. I haven't seen or talked to my father in over 2 years. I'm not one to ask for handouts. Every piece of music equipment, etc, I paid for with my own money, but as stated in the OP, I am currently struggling financially an don't have the funds for a new PC.

...I'm 31. When I was about 15, I remember getting on the internet and writing an email to bill gates asking him for help for a new computer. I figured that just because he had the money and could give every person in the world at least 1 dollar (with plenty left over), he would help. Well, he didn't. Years later, he launched the Bill and Melinda gates foundation to help put computers in schools across the world. I would like to think that my email helped inspire him to do it. More to the point, don't expect anyone to help you, even in times of need. Your a healthy young man. Go out there and make some money......there are no more handouts in this world. You have to earn it
