Breh stop making "____ Type" beats. It is basically playing yourself. If you want to have the influence that's fine but as soon as you compare yourself to someone people will never look at you as if youre better than them.

What I find crazy, is that I'm scrolling through GoFundMe campaigns, and see all these white folks raising $5000+ and reaching their goal. Then when I scroll past a black person, they've only raised like $2-300, and nowhere near their goal.
Black folks really don't support their own people.
Kinda true.. the family of the singer that was killed the other day is asking for $4000.. (I know ol girl was worth some money too cause she was getting booked regularly for concerts) ... Not to mention Adam Levine said he would pay for her funeral

CHeck out my gofundme from earlier this year. I told them they were subsidizing my production of the demo for Black Sands.
"subsidizing" as in not paying for the whole thing. I also created so much content before I even started it.
They backed me before and I proved myself, they will show up in the KS campaign when the flood gates open for the full production.

90% of the funds came from straight up fans and that was when black sands was little more then a concept. It is now a serious contender for G.O.A.T. of the year 2017

theirs two sides to this
1. beat makers that do the "type" beats are not really in it for artist value imo, thats why they never put together their own proper projects/albums
2. its a quick come up for rappers looking for the "popping" sound in rap so they look for beat makers that make these young thug or future type beats , how will they afford to pay metro boomin and them? so they seek these type of beat makers
funny enough, chief keef actually youtubed "cheif keef type beat" one day and found the beat for Citgo
