ima have to see whats poppin that weeknd, i wouldnt want to bring u to none of the clubs i be at shyt be way to hood and people wild out, but burbon might be aight, and canal is always buzzing in the day time

night time u can always find something to do

bra dont listen to these dudes, u can go on apple and eagle, u can go thru the hoods, aint nobody gon do u shyt, i live in the 7th ward right now, but im from uptown, and my hood has a ever going beef wit the 17th and been thru there, chilled there and lived there many times

and if im off i can show u around some place bra, most of these dudes that post about being from new orleans not really from the real parts of the city, and only know of these parts from stories people tell them, i mean its a real city and shyt can get real, but if u aint in no trouble u would most likey be good, i mean at anytime some shyt might pop off, but if u from the hood and have street smarts u gon know whats happening before hand

and u diff and go to that store on apple and eagle(in the day time) without be harmed, shyt aint crazy like that

but i would say try the food(soo much great food), go on canal/bourbon, and u can visit the hoods and aint shyt gon happen to u, just dont make yourself look like a walking lick

Word. I feel you on that point about neighborhoods here in the city. I'm not from New Orleans but I pretty much walk everywhere in my free time, in and out of all the neighborhoods in my area since I stay in the 8th. As long as you got sense, no one will mess with you. Actually you'd be surprised, people are a lot more friendly. I think it's really about how you respond to them.

Yeah New Orleans street trash/thugs seem very hostile toward out of towners(in particular fellow blacks) whom visit their rat holes/ hoods....I know of atleast 3 unproved murders of transplants in the city whom made the mistake of venturing or working in NO slums within the last year...Recently one young brother from my hometown whom attended UNO was gunned down in his vehicle by a 16 yr old shythead gang banger supposedly visiting while visiting chick in the East(which I thought was a decent section of the city)

New Olreans ghettos are infested with animals whom been well trained by whitey to attack/prey on the righteous and vulnerable brothers/sisters trying to do better for themselves/lift up the community..I wouldn't go to any NO crime ridden area without reason or protection..

My lil cousin and her family actualy chose to move from the suburbs(St. Tammany Parish) to the city proper last year so if they survive and don't decide to move againI might have to get them to show me around soon...Last time I went down as right before Katrina......Didn't stay long but Bourban street seemd overrated...UNO campus had a few broads though.

i'm black and have been following New Orleans news periodically since Hurricane Katrina to check on the recovery...don't get me wrongI have met cool/civilized brothers from there in college and displaced folks whom resettled in my town but you gotta admit a disproportionate and disgusting level of black on black ethnic ethnic cleansing is far to common down there.
