It isn't ANYTHING like going out to eat alone.

I prefer going to the movies alone on Saturday, catching the matinee. It's a fukking movie, you're watching it in a dark theatre where silence is supposed to be golden ... not in a crowded restaurant full of people having conversations.

I was at Avengers midnight release solo in the line with all the cacs.....Its second nature with me to go alone...mainly because I go to see the movies I want. Every bliue moon I go see a tyler perry flick....now thats with a female!

Going to a movie with a friend, or friends, is definitely more enjoyable.

There's no difference while the movie is playing (my friends know how to shut the fukk up ), but before and after it's infinitely better.

If its a movie I really want to see I usually see it alone first and then go with a date/friends afterwards because everyone I know has a compulsive need to talk every ten minutes during a fukking movie and it ends up pissing me off.

When I have to travel for work I eat alone and i don't mind it...I usually have my iPad with me so my attention is focused on that.
Besides I don't enjoy anyone's company as much as my own so doing things solo never gives me any anxiety.
