Dame might’ve actually dropped a tier in most people’s eyes after this series, even with the regular season explosion

Should’ve kept his mouf closed
It’s not just this season and the talking and then totally failing in the Playoffs

It’s that every year the expectations are high and he does not deliver the performances that come with being the Franchise guy

=

He is hugely talented and can really score DURING THE REGULAR SEASON but when the Playoffs come around.. he’s just the same mortal Playoff Dame, and this year he didn’t have that 1 blowout game where he totally dominates..

So I think the combination of all of this will prove you right: he has dropped a tier.

He sounded insecure and unsure in post-game interviews, like he gave up. It’s ok to get outplayed 1 game, you’re playing the best players in the world - but the coach had no answer for the tough defensive scheme vs Dame and neither did Dame, and he also didn’t step it up in other ways.

Wrong, you young ass nikka. The chapter starred with a chip over the mavs in 06:ahh:
nikka don't even know history:scust:
:comeon:I was talking about the Big 3 era which is where you guys won most of yalls rings. Bron/Wade/Bosh Heat 2 rings > Wade and Shaqs 1 ring

but hey if you want to go there cool

but after the beginning of that chapter, the rising action was getting embarrased by us in 07 with a sweep:umad: and then not getting out of the first round until Bosh and Bron arrived:mjlol:

yall defended yall title one time(2013) and you barely pulled that off:russ:

Jrue has that nikka quivering man. Everybody gets clamped but you can’t be bucking the whole second half of the season and give what he gave. I wish dude the best tho cause he got a killa mentality

True breh, that Playoff performance is a no - Jrue was great though, played very well

DOES Dame really have a killer mentality?

Everything suggests that he has it in the regular season only..

He had that big series deciding game winner but other than that he doesn’t come across as a straight killer

He’s their franchise player and almost disappeared, maybe that’s too strong but he did not put up the big fight that’s expected

yeah all them threads about him being a #2 on a championship team might be warranted. There's not too many true #1s in the league, like even Kyrie can either bury your team or rise them out the depths in the offs, but Dame teeters towards "I should play the back" far too often. That houston dagger has carried his career pretty long.

goin into this series I thot portland would have a strong chance just cause he wouldnt be playing under the weight of having to match Steph. past 2 postszns, he would take so many retarded shots just to match the brilliance of steph and it'd cost em. This year, he just couldnt make it happen even playing within the system. cant even speak on what he could do better, they took his jumpshot out the equation off rip, once he couldnt play offball it was a wrap
