If you like graphic design then you'd be better taking a couple of classes to get a certificate and then start doing work on the side. Check out churches, small concert halls or something. Also look for graphic designer jobs on Craigslist or a job site and see what type of skills they require.

Go to a community college or university near you and network with some marketing majors. You can get some cheap help and may do some design work for them in exchange.
:ohhh: That's actually not a bad idea. I stay 5 minutes from a university (UNCC)

Oh and just to be on that good paying jobs tip. Construction jobs are good.

Call Center jobs are good but annoying.

You're right, but I don't think it's nearly the same as working at Wal-Mart or something.
It's a lot of pressure. I think the base salary is actually pretty low but because you make commission the potential is high. My boy kept telling me how they would threaten to cut his paycheck in half if he didn't sell x amount of phones + x amount of tablets.

OP one of the simplest things is learning Excel, i cant tell you how many offices live off the spreadsheet system, if you can learn enough it will be easier for you to get an office job

become a notary, my brother does this as a side hustle and makes a couple hundred a week, all you really are is a professional witness and signer and its not that hard to get your license

anything involving something creative - music production, videographer, graphic designer etc.

couple years ago, i finally figured out that my passion is video, but i didnt have a film degree or any of that bs, so i took my last 1k and bought a camera and other gear and started my own video business

or if you like building things, woodworking can be very lucrative, basically you build furniture like chairs, tables, coffee tables and sell them, custom pieces bring in a nice stream of money
