I'm in denial right now. Kobe's career can't end like this. :to:

who here understands how surgeries like this work? is there a way to make the achillies stronger like how they did his knees? or will this weaken him?

It will weaken him. He'll never be 100 % again and I think I read somewhere that he'll most likely lose a couple of inches on his vertical.

If phil was coach, despite this team not having to fight for an 8 seed, Kobe's career wouldn't be over. How many times have we seen Phil check Kobe's ego over the years? maybe hundreds. He stayed in because nobody asked him to come out. He's gonna keep playing because he wants to win the game and nobody is making a judgement call objectively like a coach should. What a way to end a career :smh:

nikka gtfoh. Kobe is a grown man and should be mature enough to not have someone hold his hand and constantly remind him that the best way to help the team would be to make sure he's healthy and stays 100%. His bytch ass wanted that singular glory too much and crashed and burned

Its a shame his career is basically over but :pacspit: to any nikka scapegoating other people for kobes fail at trying to gloryhog

But Tony Parker won Finals MVP.... nvm. I forgot your national sport is cricket Apu.

Parker won the finals MVP because he had an exploitable matchup against a one-legged Larry Hughes, dumb ass, did you even watch the playoffs that year? Duncan was the #1 option and leading scorer all through the season and the playoffs up until the finals. He averaged 22 and 11 and shot 52% in the playoffs that year.

He was wise and humble enough to allow a teammate to take advantage of a matchup in the finals. He's not going to take more shots than Shaq and make 38% of them in the finals against the Pistons like your masturbatory aid.

Kinda like Shaq during the threepeat huh? While Kobe was busy demolishing teams like the Spurs in the Western Playoffs.

Thank you. I was just gonna say that. Shaq faced Rik Smiths, Dikembe and Todd McCollaugh. Kobe was dropping 40 point games on the Kings and Spurs. This dude sonned himself in that post.

That's a fair point. I'm just saying overall Shaq was clearly the #1 option on the team during the 3 peat. Kobe was beasting in the WC playoffs though.

What is it you do with all the championship banners in the offseason? Look at them and realize you have the most amazing standard to live up to? Or just reflect for a moment on how great the organization is? I mean, when you have this to look at every offseason,

i often wonder what yall get from all this useless back and forth you engage in...

whats the point?

yall argue...sometimes angrily over careers and stats of players that dont even know you exist...living in their mansions and spending their millions...that often care less about the wins/losses that drive yall nuts in here...

im serious...what do you get out of being fans like this?
