Nancy Pelosi and 60% of house Democrat’s just voted AGAINST impeachment hearings and to PROTECT Trump!! In the senate about 70%-80% of democrats are AGAINST impeachment. These right wing Trump protectors that call themselves democrats are why Trump will win in 2020 and the house will officially turn republican in 2020. We were told IF we would vote democrat in 2018 they would:

1. stop trump and put a check on him

2. Impeach Trump

3. Get trumps taxes




NONE of this will take place, I’m only voting for PROGRESSIVE democrats, I will NEVER vote for a democrat that protects trump and votes republican

I'm still not completely sure impeaching Trump won't backfire, since he would just say he was exonerated (and paint himself as the victim) when the GOP Senate inevitably fails to remove him from office.

As much as I want him out of office I can understand why Pelosi is hesitant. If she went forward with it and Trump still got re-elected people would say it was only because impeachment rallied his base. Now if you don't think that matters and think he should be impeached purely on moral grounds that's a different story and I can't argue with that, I just worry impeaching would increase the odds of him being reelected.

I guess it comes down to what you think is more important - minimising the chances of Trump getting another term (and doing more damage), or doing what's morally right at the moment. IDK.

Inaccurate. Outside of illness, President Pence would never happen because Trump will never in a million years be removed by a GOP Senate. It would be more like "Trump gets impeached, Senate automatically fails to convict, Trump touts it as a huge L for Democrats."

You impeach Trump and you guarantee him a victory. The Mueller Report basically punts the ball to Congress. So why do the Democrats have that’s concrete. It’s better to grill his administration on its faults. Such as separating kids down at the border from their parents. You can make the argument that they should all be shipped back home, but separating them from their kids is just cruel. That’s more effective than impeachment. Especially since it won’t go anywhere once in the Senate.
