Some of you guys are clueless. What you don't understand is having 4 legs gives your much more balance, stability and agility. On two feet, you can be knocked off balance and onto your back much easier. A lion is like a 500lb pitbull with claws that can run 50 mph 
I can't sleep on the Gorilla or a Bear, but I think the agility of the big cats could keep them off balance. The Gorilla and Bear have greater more precise use of they're hands, so that could help even things out. Who really knows?
