Got a DUI...

since i refused a breathalyzer test and stuff, my lawyer said that i have to do this dwi evaluation test that will be ordered by the court but he will give me his own guy to do it, which is a bit less strict. haven't had a court date yet cuz it was canceled

but i was wondering, in this dui evaluation will i get drug tested? anyone ever go through this? i know it's a number of questions to determine if your an alcoholic or whatever but i am not sure if i will be drug tested

My condolences, you're about to come out of some serious cash. I'm talking several thousand, minimum.

I almost got a DUI last year for refusing to take the breathalyzer test, but I said fukk it and took it...and was below the limit.


Not that I thought I was drunk (I wasn't...I'd had like two beers several hours ago) but I was so nervous I wasn't sure what I should do. Never putting myself in that situation again. And fukk them cops.

stories of people dying wasn't enuff for me to stop drinking and driving,but when people started telling me about lawyer fees and having to take classes,having they license taken or restrictions for YEARS...I cut that bullshyt out

Since you refused they may try to use that against you. I don't think you would get drug tested unless the officer thought you were "more" than drug or they are being complete a$$holes. Remember the state is cheap and they will not pay for a test unless they are 100% certain they can get you. If it is your first offense, expect a slap on the wrist, community service and people questioning you if you have a problem.
Get ahead of the court before you court date and go to a couple AA meetings. Learn the game basically. And if you are into church, get MORE into church. Judges have a hard time sentencing religious people who are good for the community. Oh...last thing...Get ready to pay out of the ass for probably a year or more.
