I'll just add onto this thread. My Macbook keeps shutting down on its own. Nothing comes up in diagnostics and they couldn't find anything wrong at the Apple Store either.

I uninstall Sophos because sometimes that can be the cause. It worked fine for a few days and now I'm back to the same shyt. Anyone ever experience this?
Back up your shyt and reinstall your OS(very very very easy to do on a mac) :yeshrug:

If it keeps doing it after that its hardware

In addition to malwarebytes, etc mentioned in the thread everyone should have uBlock Origin installed in every browser to block ads.

What year is it???

It sounds familiar. I had a problem with my old macbook but I forgot what it was abd exactly what I did to fix it because it was so long ago.

If it was Windows I would say its probably a driver or new software. Maybe go back to an old starting point after you backup data?

I think its what happened to my old macbook but it was so long ago and basically something that happened with those older macbooks models after a certain age. I had to rewrite some shyt that I honestly dont remember
Late 2014. I'm probably just gonna backup everything and reinstall the OS. :shaq2:
