after a week of mostly radio silence, the interviewer followed up with me to let me know he had received my analysis.
He said he would be taking a look at it over the next couple of days, and thanked me for following up.
at least hes still following up / i'm still in the running, i guess. ive been interviewing else where too, but im digging this position.

Breh....sometimes the interviewer will throw signs out there that they want you, but can't officially offer you the job yet. When you talked to him on the phone did he say anything that may resemble that?
Well the thing is, since the interview, all communication has been through email.
He did say along the lines of "if we find someone we like, we can move quickly" and smiled at me on the way out the interview.
Im happy that dude is still following up with me and emailing when he gets a chance, but I'm not putting all my eggs in this basket

Sounds like you have a good chance....they might be doing the background check and shyt, which can take several weeks sometimes

I have an interview Tuesday but I have a nice reference from a higher up within the company so I'm hoping the job is mine to lose. Do you know anybody at the company? To get an interview without knowing somebody on the inside nowadays speaks volumes about your qualifications

im frustrated, i stil haven't really heard back from dude, and I'm applying elswhere left and right. Im getting reponsess and looks by companies, but I feel like im stuck in a grey area where I get an inital interview, then spend a ton of time waiting to hear back.

this is what I hate about the job process. so much time spent waiting. hell, some companies are so inconsiderate, they don't even notify you that you DIDN'T get the job
