Got caught for plagarism

I don't think you'll get kicked out of school for plagiarism. Most schools have an appeal process for grades so you should check and see what the requirements are. At my school you can appeal at any time during your undergrad career so if yours is similar you need to really step it up for the next semester or two and if possible take another class with the same teacher so she can vouch for your improvement and then go through the appeal process. It all depends on your school though

I had a programming project due that was worth 20% of my subject, it was related to creating some kind of Java application. I used one of them "Assignment Expert" websites on the internet to get it done for me coz I couldn't be bothered doing it (ok it was kinda hard).
Long story short the assignment I received and submitted turned out to be openly available on the internet. In fact a quick google search of the Assignment title could give you a direct link to the exact code I submitted.
My Indian professor sent me an email the other day to set up a meeting with her so we could "discuss" my submission. I knew something was wrong right away because the semester was over and we have finished our finals. I found out it was available on the internet hours before the meeting after a hail mary google search (I was previously convinced it was original) and spent a whole night studying the code in case she wanted to quiz me.
I told her the truth and gave her a kinda good story why I did it, she kinda bought it. She said the consequences were grave and could show up on my academic record, but said she'd rather try mitigate the situation. She said she will talk with her seniors about it first (she's an Ass. Prof).
I'm just so mad, especially at myself for doing something so stupid. If I had known the code was available online I would've done it my damn self. I'm really feeling down and i hate myself. I really needed a good grade for this unit. But I guess I have learned a hard lesson.
ps I don't know why I'm posting this here, but I hardly post so please cut me some slack. Maybe someone here has had similar experiences..?
How do you not double check everything to make sure it can't be found in a google search?
So not only did you get caught for plagiarism but you also got robbed by one of those help sites.

thing is i had the previous project that was worth 10% done by the same company and got a pretty good grade
kinda gave me overconfidence in them and decided to use their services again for the second one.
as for asking for classsmates help, thing is i'm the only black person in the subject (and only two in the course) and find it difficult to ask these white/asian folk for help. i prolly can, but i ****ing hate them. i am a very introverted person so that doesn't help either.

Uh oh...those older professors generally don't give a fukk and lack sympathy and even empathy most of the time. There are varying degrees of plagarism, but I think you did the worst. You'll probably recieve a xe or whatever it is as a suspect failure on your transcript.
Next time cover you ass before you do some shyt like this again

Man i can really relate to this shyt. The only reason i passed my programming classes was because i was stealing code.
See at GT we had this huge file sharing network that a lot of students didnt know existed. It was like when you saved something to a certain drive on your computer it was automatically file shared unless you put a password on that drive. Some people were saving everything they did to that drive without knowing it was being file shared. Like they thought it was the C drive or something. So yeah, one night after going through peoples shyt looking for movies, games, and porn i got the bright idea to look for CS homework too. Hit the motherload and didnt do a single homework assignment myself for the rest of the semester. I was smart enough to change the name of the project, some lines of code, and the comments though. Some of the students forgot to change shyt and just submitted it, straight up stolen. They ended up being expelled.
That a$$hole must have found out people were on his drive because he password protected it the next semester when i took Java. I had to actually beg them fukkin chinese and indian cats in class to help a nikka out.
