Skylar was never “cool” with Walt was doing. Walt threatened her and told her that she’d screw over her kids, be treated as an accomplice to him, screw over Hank, and possibly destroy her family.

She was a scared mother who admitted that she was just trying to protect her kids. She admitted she was a coward and didn’t know how to be rid of Walt without sacrificing everything because he refused to leave her alone.

The FIRST THING SKYLAR DID AFTER FIGURING OUT WALT WAS DOING SOMETHING SHADY WAS KICK HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE AND TRY TO DIVORCE HIM!

Walt refused to sign the papers, broke back into the house, and when Skylar started calling the cops then he told her that he’d name as an accomplice because she had unknowingly been spending the money (That he lied about and said was from the charity) while getting her kids taken from her, ruining Hank’s career and Marie’s life. She kept trying to get him to leave the house and he REFUSED.

What the fukk was she supposed to do? She was already screwed by the time she found out.

I'm on season 2 rewatching right now and everytime there has been an issue, Skylar was in the right. Nothing about what she's doing so far seems unreasonable. Her husband disappears for hours at a time, has a second cell phone and is in constant communication with a drug dealing former student. How is her asking questions about him suddenly switching up a problem? Walt has lied to her about literally everything at this point and she is rightfully suspicious because he's a moron with no street smarts and constantly in some bs.

Walt is a terrible person all around. He threatened Jesse and forced him to partner up. Was the reason Jesse was even in the position to be hospitalized, evicted and have his money taken by the police. Then gets offended when he comes asking for help.

So far, Skylar is the most sympathetic character. She married a dormant sociopath and is now dealing with the consequences of that.

Only if they didn’t pay attention to the damn show. She literally admits that she is terrified and disgusted by Walt but feels too entangled in his BS to get out. The laundering was her literally playing a survival tactic.



Skylar isn’t a super genius or mastermind. She’s a pretty normal person who was trying to survive and not set off the criminal kingpin that refused to leave her alone.

Her final card was to play the role of the understanding wife and pray that Walt gets cancer. She’s a coward, that’s it.

Left what? He signed the papers but she wasn’t chasing after him. Divorce takes time, she can’t keep the kids away from him, and the only time she really comes into contact with him was after she went to his apartment to plead with Walt to tell Jesse to calm down.

The car wash wasn’t her flexing, it was her being smart. Walt had worked there for awhile, they could see they knew how it ran, they knew the clientele, and had most everything in place to make the transition smooth. How is that “flexing her ego”?

It’s like you seem to think a female character doing something proactive is “flexing her ego”.

Again, she gave the money to Ted for a LOGICAL REASON. Ted was committing major tax fraud and Skylar found out. Because she was the book keeper, the IRS would be going through HER personal finances too and Walt told her that they had been using his illegal drug money for awhile before she found out. She didn’t give Ted the money because she was trying to screw Walt, she was trying to stop the IRS from really diving into White’s finances.
