I didn't root for Walter.

I think the show is a bit amusing in that sense. Hank who came across as this big Macho guy was probably infertile and one of the few characters I liked.

Walter's character kind of showed that the underdog is not always a good person at heart.

My issue with Skylar is that she was just as rotten. I have a sincere hatred for people who are more concerned about looking as though they're doing the right thing, than actually doing the right thing.

The moment she got comfortable with that way of life, right and wrong stopped mattering her. It didn't matter because she was able to maintain her image of being a respectable civilian.

Watching the series again the Skylar hate is overblown, I think a lot of viewers think the wife should just be quiet and ride for her husband no matter what he does. Walter came out ok when it came to the meth biz but there were multiple situations that could have gotten his family killed.

Skylar was never “cool” with Walt was doing. Walt threatened her and told her that she’d screw over her kids, be treated as an accomplice to him, screw over Hank, and possibly destroy her family.

She was a scared mother who admitted that she was just trying to protect her kids. She admitted she was a coward and didn’t know how to be rid of Walt without sacrificing everything because he refused to leave her alone.
