Wendy was Skylar turned up to 11.

Ozark really is breaking bad with alot more forced drama and a much more unlucky protagonist.

Skylar hate has always been misguided. Walt threw their family into that bullshyt without her consent and didn’t even let her know he was doing it. All because of his ego. She’s not like a Carmella who chose that life; Skylar was thrust into it by her husband who is supposed to be her partner but acted on his own.

But underneath his ego he had good intentions

Lmao what? She tried to get Walt to tell her the truth multiple times. She was pretty damn supportive but she was also trying to hold the family down. She got a job like 8 months pregnant. Skylar went out of her way to not destroy Walt Jr’s image of his dad and took the full blame of her sons anger solely to shield him from the reality that his dad was a scumbag.

She tried to leave Walt and divorce him. Every time she tried to call the police, tell him to stop, or get away from him, he would manipulate or threaten her. She was using drug money unknowingly and Walt said he’d name her as an accomplice. She knowingly used the drug money to help pay for Hank’s treatment after the Twins tried to kill him because she wanted that evil money to do something good.

Skylar hated him and was calling the cops and shyt on him after she found out what he was doing and she moved out if I remember correctly.

Then she turned around and accepted the lifestyle and took him back then started acting like she was scared of him.

Her character was a little overly dramatic and self righteous. She wasn't some poor old innocent woman that was just a victim of her circumstances either.

She was as crude as Walter was in the later part of the show.

He could have provided for his family, gotten top flight treatment, and everything he wanted by taking the job at Gray Matter but his pride wouldn’t allow him too.

Walt almost got their entire family a starring role in a Drug Cartel production with all his bullshyt. The twins were in his house and seconds away from murdering him, his children, and Skylar.

Y’all think she have kept her kids around a known METH DEALER and one of the biggest drug kingpins around?

She said it later on. She was a coward and trying to keep her kids safe as long as she could until Walt got himself killed or died of cancer.



Again, Skylar TRIED to leave. She felt like she was a hostage, her kids were hostages, and that she was too caught up in his BS to do it legally especially with Walt being a master manipulator.
