Got diagnosed with type two diabetes brehs

My question is what is healthy? Especially what is healthy for someone of African descent?
In my mind Im thinking salad with lettuce, tomatoes carrots for lunch and dinner with a side of baked fish/chicken. For breakfast, maybe some cereal with fruit. And then just cutting out most junk food and soda.

I wonder if thats enough of a change in diet to get rid of type 2 diabetes.

Lettuce is literally just water and most cereals are processed with loads of sugar.

Do "scientist" really know what triggers these health ailments? Is it truly "too much sugar"?

I'm gone trust yall nikkas not to tell nobody on here who I clown on and not joke about it :francis:.

I been type 1 since I was 6 years old and I'm 30. I have no idea how I got it cause it don't run in my fam. I will say that my diet has been ok, I don't fukk round with sweets much but I have my sweet tooth days fasho.

Thing is, I have had at least bout 6 low sugar black outs in the past. Ain't happened in a while but then bytches are scary breh's. To the point where the ambulance had to come and shoot me sugar :huhldup:. A nikka wake up and get the seeing shyt differently, the whole house will literally look different to u. This happens before blacking out also, it's how I catch it most of the time.

I been a lot better with my shyt over the last 5 years. Best part bout my shyt though, is that I have NEVER had any bad tests for my organs or anything like that. All doctors tell me I'm perfectly healthy for my age and how long I have had it.

Take care of yourself breh, don't let it get worse and go to type 1.

Didnt know that about lettuce. I always thought it was healthy. Full of nutrients and all that. Switch it to spinach then.

With the cereal I was thinking that Special K stuff. Or get rid of the cereal altogether and just eat fruit for breakfast. Maybe with toasted wheat bread with some butter.

In any case you need to cut down on processed meat (SAUSAGE, BACON, LAMB, BASICALLY ALL RED MEAT)

THING IS THOUGH EVEN POULTRY CAN BE PROCESSED.. IN FACT MOST shyt IS TO A DEGREE SO YOU GOTTA LOOK AT INGREDIENTS A LOT. CUT DOWN ON PROCESSED FOOD TOO THAT INCLUDES CEREAL, BREAD ETC. ITS CRAZY TOO THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT HERE THAT DONT EXERCISE AT ALL, THERES NO REASON WHY YOU CANT EXERCISE FOR AT LEAST 25-30 MINUTES A DAY. IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE TO BE IN ONE GO YOU CAN DO A LITTLE 15 MINUTE BURST SESSION TWICE A DAY, EXERCISING WILL KEEP YOUR LEVELS LOW

I MIGHT EAT AT A FAST FOOD CHAIN ONCE EVERY 3 MONTHS BUT HELL ITS AVERAGE MEN AND WOMEN UP IN THERE WEEKLY. CRAZY STUFF.

Get closer to a hunter gatherer diet.

High protein, low carb. Lots of vegetables especially root veggies, some fruits and dark leafy greens (preferably organic, no pesticides).

What symptons you had op? I pass alot but I drink 2 cups of coffee a day.

My butt burns at times like hemroids and I dikk stays warm and moist like its leaking or some stuff no homo :francis:
