Yeah he's a mechanic by trade and picked up his CDL because he realized no other mechanic had one. This was the early 90's he eventually bought a freightliner cab over condo and did his own thing until he retired.

Yo how hard is it to get ya learners? I want to get my learners before my interview with state department of transportation. If I get the job I got to get my cod within 6 months anyway but if I can get my learners first before landing the job, I can haggle a lil more salary

Still outchea boys......Heading down to Florida for the week before Christmas. About to hit my 6 month mark in a few weeks. Money looking right. Company trying to get me on dedicated routes, saying they want me to retire with them........ looking at my options. So many options.

You just take a written test. Get your up-to-date state CDL book and read through it. Figure out which tests you have to take for the learner's permit. I'm surprised nobody replied to you. I guess everybody with any interest is probably on the road.
