Chicken spaghetti is completely different from "regular spaghetti"
Chicken spaghetti is made with chicken of course, spaghetti noodles and cream of mushroom soup, velvetta cheese, rotel and is baked like a casserole
Im from Houston and it is something we eat regularly.
As for your girl making the same dishes, might I suggest buying her a cookbook for Christmas or looking up some chefs to follow on IG or youtube.
I like to try new things when I cook and those are my go-to places for inspiration.

And yea I do think you should be grateful. Sounds like she is making an attempt to show you how domestic she can be. I have a friend that only makes homemade hamburgers, nachos, hamburger helper, and fried porkchops. So it could be worse. Count your blessings on this one.

Foundation is there just incorporate some meals you like. Better than getting instant ramen noodles 5 times a day.

You should be cooking, at least every once in a while to add some variety. Then once she eats food that's actually good, she'll go "Awesome, you can make food now." You think she'll be upset, but in reality, she'll be cool with it. You don't want to cook because it's a chore, but at some point you gotta cut the bullshyt.

I feel the OP but he should be glad he gets that. Most my exes couldn't cook and my ex made the same grilled chicken on a George Forman with overcooked rice and greens from can with no added seasoning. I understand the desire for variety...nobody likes doing or eating the same thing....just gotta express it to his girl.

I have also recently learned not everyone has the cooking capabilities that may come naturally to others. She may have felt she has mastered those dishes and felt they are safe.
