I’m starting to wonder if the Democrats “hatred” of Trump is going to keep them from making a deal with him. At some point, someone has to be the bigger adult here....you can’t count on Trump to do that.

I’m stating that they both have to try to come together as the egos are starting to rip the country apart. I personally don’t want to see a year of a government shutdown. It’s not good for anybody.

A year? Man, by the beginning of March if the government is still shut down, the WORLD ECONOMY will collapse!

The bottom line is, Trump will not open the govt, the bill is waiting in the senate, all he has to do is open the govt and people can get paid. It is too late to turn back now, the damage is already done, this is a powerless president. The history books will be written with scorn, after this, love him or hate him, Obama will be remembered as the last POTUS, because not 1 day since January, 2017 have we had a POTUS. Reagan is remembered fondly because the Republicans turned completely cutthroat and scheming evil/awful when BC triggered them, sure he fired all th ATC’s, and that was a HUGE DEAL, but he also gave immigrants amnesty. There is NOTHING Trump can/even would do to offset this horror. He is the most hated man in America, for sure, maybe across the whole entire world, our president, holding his own govt hostage, what a fukking joke.
