The most basic argument against the BS line of thinking of everyone has walls because walls work is that every place that was ever broken into had walls. If someone is determined enough to get into a place a wall won't stop them.
Anything he says plays well to his base. If he stop talking about it they'd stop caring just like when he quit the lock her up talk they moved on to other things.
