This shyt is fukkin huge. For years 30+% of Michigan driver's had suspended licenses, 43% of drivers under 25 had suspended licenses around 2011 when that fukkin drivers responsibility fee was used as illegal double Jeopardy.

All the damage this shyt did, all the cars people lost, all the jobs people lost getting arrested driving to work, ect.

This shyt is huge. I been saying for years, it makes no since that a rich white man can get 10 speeding tickets, but will never get suspended, as long as he pays his tickets. But poor people will go to jail for 1 unpaid insurance or registration ticket. It makes no fukkin sense to take people off the road who are not dangerous drivers.

This shyt is a blessing for young nikkas. Good shyt big Gretch

More than 70,000 Michigan driver's licenses become eligible again: What you need to know

It's real easy to get caught up in that cycle of driving while suspended but have no actual moving violations. By the time I was 21 I had like 4 DWLS but no other violations. Just being profiled and pulled over.

I remember going to a hearing and the magistrate asked how was that possible. I told her DWB, she restored my privileges.

Huge win for the people. License issues are a pain in the ass and can be difficult to navigate around if you get caught up.
Only 73,000 people?
That's an initial estimate. Every year, records show hundreds of thousands of people lose their license because of these issues, however. For example, in 2018, the state suspended more than 350,000 licenses for these reasons.

"Drivers may have had their license suspended for additional violations for which sanctions are not being removed under the new law," said secretary of state spokeswoman Aneta Kiersnowski.

How long will this take?
For about 35,000 people, you can start driving immediately. Your letter will tell you if you fall into this category.

If your letter does not say you're eligible right away, it may take some time to renew a license or get a new one. The Secretary of State's Office says it generally takes two to three weeks to get a license after submitting an application.

The 2022 Michigan gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the Governor of Michigan. Incumbent Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer is running for re-election to a second term.

Gonna be a huge showdown in 2022 in a non-Presidential year. People better stay engaged and informed.

Gretch is definitely president material, but I'd hate to lose her Governing because she is EASILY the most progressive democrat in a governor's position. The things she has done since getting the position has helped millions of people. Every move she has mad was only yo benefit the less fortunate.

I have NEVER been pulled over for a moving violation, NOT A SINGLE TIME. I have been pulled over 20-25 times, usually getting a DWLS and nothing else (Detroit never takes your car, but the suburbs always do).

I've had 12 DWLS tickets which prompted me to sue the fukk out of Macomb county, I have been working on this case for 2 years now. Representing myself. I don't expect to get any type of verdict go my way, but I want to complain to a judge and call out this garbage ass system that keeps broke nikkas from making money legally.

Big Gretch is the standard of what a politician should be

I was profiled more in Michigan than in NC. They did my bro the same way with his license. As young adults we missed out on a few opportunities because of that. Then they charge you an arm and leg to reinstate.

When I finally did get my license, I was able to get my cdl and grow in leaps and bounds. But even the school I trained at was like "no point in you getting a cdl, because we can't guarantee you a job" I gambled and it paid off.

That shyt is literally a self perpetuating cycle of poverty... Rooted in profiling.

This is dope :wow:

Philly recently banned cops from stopping people for minor infractions. .

These two things taken nationwide would go a long way towards decreasing police violence, simply by cutting down on the amount of interaction they have with us :wow:

Catching us slipping in vehicles is THE number one way police get us

If they were driving drunk or high on that shyt shyt?

They need to keep those specific groups suspended. Gonna come back to bite her if an opponent can point to suspended drunk who got reinstated and hurt someone
That's how the rule is nikka lol. Which it should have always been thru the whole country. If you get multiple moving violations of course you should get suspended. 1 DUI of course you should get suspended.

YOUR LICENSE SHOULD NEVER BE SUSPENDED FOR PAPERWORK, rather you pay the ticket or not, this is a corporate scheme to keep the poor poor. They could easily take paperwork violations out of your state taxes, I'm sure everybody would prefer that.
